Welcome to TM, Hajs. Especially, welcome to the comeback players group. There are a lot of us here. It sounds like you have the same goals as most of us and finding a good teacher is a great start. Being on the opposite coast, I can't help much with finding a teacher but I just wanted to welcome you and encourage you. I have been back for 6 months (after 35 years off) and I'm having a ball. I joined a community symphonic band and it's great to be around some really good players (to see how its done) and some not-so-really-great players (to realize there is a spot for me).

Mark Emery. He plays principal trumpet in Vermont Symphony and subs all the time with the Boston Symphony. He's very cool and he's wicked good!!! Fo' Shizzle!!!
