ChopSaver lip balm... any thoughts?

I found an ad for Chop Saver lip balm (chap stick type stuff). Supposedly it helps your chops resist fatique and aids in quicker recovery time. I wondered if anyone has any experience with this stuff. Is it any good, worth $5? Or is it just a gimmick? Thanks everyone.

YES!

I've been using it all winter here in the Frozen Tundra called Minneapolis.

Best thing I've found..............

Before using Chopsaver, I used A&D ointment. My wife said I smelled like a baby's butt...............

She says Chopsaver smells better and tastes better, too.....

Yes I have been using ChopSaver for a year now and I will never look back. I have been through a bunch of stuff. DCT, Chap Stick, Burts Bees Wax, etc etc.

This is by far the best product I have ever used.

It's great to hear about a good product. Does it actually improve endurance or reduce fatigue though?

The stuff works great. It really works those days your chops are taking or have taken a beating. I use it all the time and have run in to people at gigs using it. Do yourself a favor and get some.

Alex Yates has a little shameless behaviour in the past
No gimmicks P. You can be assured that Mr. Gosling (a trumpeter himself) puts out a great product made just for us musicians. Chopsaver is also a supporter of this site, so it is great to support him in return. You won't be disappointed.

It's not magic, but it helps! That reminds me-I need some more.

definitely the best chapstick product I've used and I HATE most of the stuff out there. Definitely a step up....not too waxy.
