![]() | Re: Conn trumpet question? Looks like a Director model to me, which was Conn's entry-level student horn at the time. It's OK for a beginner if it's in decent mechanical condition (valves work smoothly, slides all move, no huge dents, etc.), but I wouldn't pay much over $75 for it. If the case latches don't work, you'll have to figure in the cost of a new case or gig bag, too. Cosmetically, it doesn't look too bad.
