OK! Time to brag!

Who owns the most BRASS horns in here (cornettos,
shofars etc. do not count)? Don´t list them, just count them!

RULES: When you blow in one end, something like a
tone must be heard in the other end.
Stuff already converted to lamps etc. DO NOT COUNT!
Those that count have to be playable, at least to some extent.

So I go first: I have 1 horn! Can you beat that
(if you can´t, don´t bother to answer at all . . .)?

I'll not beat it, cause I only own (right now) 7 trumpets/cornets. But my wife thinks they are only 4 : "two shorts and two longs, two white (!) and two yellow (!!).

My current 'accumilation' consists of 37 cornets and 41 trumpets. Like many of you, I am in trouble with my wife because of storage space limitations. By the way, I had to dis assemble the piles of cases in my office/bedroom/music practice room, my clothes closet, and our storage room to be able to count all of the cases.

I just remembered four more cornet cases on the shelves under my computer desk. That brings the total to 41 of each. Wow, how did that happen?

At one stage one of my friends had 38 Bb trumpets but I think he was forced to cull some of them.

Gosh, I only have 5 horns. Can we take up a collection so I won't feel deprived?
