This is sorta like my last thread, but has anyone tried the curry monster sleeve? I know they say it will work only on their mouthpieces, but sometimes they can fit other brand mps.... it looks sweet, and im just curious...thanks~

Re: Curry Monster Sleeve

Heavy mouthpieces on horns that were not designed for them reduce brilliance, speak more difficultly and accent any intonation issues on a horn.

Weight needs to be part of the entire strategy. Tires do not make an automobile "better". The performance of any system is dependent on the balance struck.

I would try and play this yourself before believing someone that perhaps was only successful in deceiving themselves.

Many of these "sleeves" are best when pulled over the HEADS of the players!

Re: Curry Monster Sleeve

I've been using the Curry Mega sleeves and valve caps on all my horns for over 15 years. They make my horns play better in all aspects. But that's just me.
