Hello my fellow TMers, I've been thinking about this for a while now but I do not have the extensive knowledge about the many classic trumpet manufacturer's history. I'm located here in Southern California and on occassion go on my lunch breaks and talk to Zig since he is only about a two blocks away from me. I was thinking of starting a vast collective history or archive where we as trumpet players/enthusiasts can get first hand information. My idea is to interview Zig/Charles on Video and just ask the many Q's & A's as well as opinions about his experiences making and design and all I can muster out about the trumpet. If I can get some of you to also help with any local master techs or manufactures would be an awesome archive. If I can get Zig to interview soon, Rob Stewart will be next on my list since he is close by too.

What are your thoughts on this and what might you want to know if this expedition comes to light soon???

All and any ideas are more than welcome please.

Thank you all,
