Re: Embouchure: 9 part bottom for 1 part upper lip
I also play using more bottom lip than top. i am relieved to see so many others using basically the same ratio that I do. i was becoming concerned as I watched players like Chris Botti play much higher on the lips. i have recently experimented with moving the mouthpiece up. While I can still play, I now have so much to re-learn that it is a real relief to move back down and have things easy for me. I was dreading having to re-educate my chops and anticipating a lengthy time playing at lower standards while i re-acclimated. now i will just continue to play like i am comfortable. Thanks to all for sharing your embouchure techniques with us.
