psalt New Friend Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Australia Posts: 36	Focus V's Spread Although most teachers encourage students to strive for a sound with focus and centre, it's been my belief that in a section of 2 or more trumpet players, a little bit of spread in the sound helps your tone "grip" or "blend" onto the other sounds. Any thoughts? Peter Salt
