Your opinions are wanted.....I received an Olds Recording cornet from an ebay seller that was shipped in its original case with a label slapped on a piece of cardboard and ziptied to the case. No box, no bubble wrap, no packaging at all. I gave the seller negative feedback based on him sending a $500.00 horn with no packaging. Of course seller wants the negative feedback retracted. He states that he has sold lots of instruments this way, never had a problem, and he insures them for the purchase price. The horn arrived undamaged but I still feel seller was cavalier about packaging, and if he tried to make an insurance claim the shipper would laugh at him given that there was no protective packaging at all. What do you think? is my negative feedback justified?
