Bob Barnard plays a great cornet. Loved hearing him in small groups, just improvs beautifully.
Keith Hounslow was magic with the Pocket trumpet and Flugelhorn
James Blunt played a beautiful classical trumpet.
Dave Newdick plays a great Lead trumpet
Seriously, there are many great trumpeters in Australia, plenty that play in Brass Band, Orchestras and Jazz arenas, as well as pro teachers. Studio pros are more harder to find, as they are like a closed club. Subs for the regulars are hard to find. Gigs like Dancing with the Stars etc are hard to find in Oz.
