| Homemade trombone-trumpet i started making a homemade trumpet-sized trombone as a hobby, and i pretty much have everything down, except my trombone can NOt get the G note out. I get the c3, c4, e4, g4 and even a4 and b flat4, (the high ones are really out of tune) but for some reason, i just can't get the g3 note out. the problem that i think i have is that i dont have the 80some cm of gradually widening cone part and the bell, which is supposed to create this 'pedal' note that i don't really understand. I dont even know if g3 is a pedal note. I would also like to know how the bell and the mouthpiece compresses the notes closer together. Sorry if im being off-topic or strange, but it seems like no other website is helping Last edited by andzono : 10-03-2006 at 10:02 PM. |
