| Horn Character We all see Wynton with his awesome looking trumpets. They all have some unique characteristic they makes them stand out - just like Dizzy Gilespie's trumpet. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to make a plane old Bb stand out against all those other trumpets? Thanks! |

| Get a can of spray paint and paint it green. Or go down to your local auto body shop and have them weld on some pieces of metal. It doesn't really matter what a horn looks like, it is the sound that comes out the end of the bell. |

| Forte User | Or, you could just dip it in gold paint. |

| Mezzo Piano User | Fall down in marching band and wrap the bell up... I made my old cornet look kind of like one of Dizzy's last year by doing that... it definatly stood out! But if you don't want to ruin your horn you could get it refinished or something... the brushed gold looks kinda neat. |
