If You Have a Slide Trumpet (soprano/mini trombone) Come Here!

Tell what slide trumpet you have and if you want, about how much it costed. I'm right now wanting a slide trumpet and was looking at the Jupiter 314L which I heard is really reliable and sounds most like an actual trumpet (which is what Im going for). If you know of one better that I should get, such as one thats maybe the same quality but a cheaper price, then post it.

Re: If You Have a Slide Trumpet (soprano/mini trombone) Come Here!

I have an old (1960's) Getzen slide trumpet, which I bought more as an oddity than something I had a real need for. I think it cost $150.00 from Robb Stewart.

I use a Jupiter slide trombone when I teach beginning trombonists. I'm borrowing it from a friend so I can't tell you how much it costs, but it plays pretty well.
