| Fortissimo User | If You Think You're Getting Good Just when you think "AHA!! I've got it!", you will undoubtedly feel ready to tackle Carnival of Venice or some other such esoteric piece of triple tonguing and multiple octave slurs. Well, there is one more test for you. Go to this page please: http://anhstrumpet.tripod.com/Faerie...eath_Waltz.jpg You can read it out on screen (recommended...you can use your "ZOOM" function...or simply print it out nice and large (You'll need it large so that you can see all the notes). If you are really good, you don't need to take the time to "check the roadmap"...just dig right in. If you suddenly aren't so certain, by all means....please stop and READ the score before you make a run at it! And keep the phone number for your trumpet teacher handy. |
