ITG 2005 Conference Coverage!

Hi all! Greetings from Bangkok!

The 2005 ITG Conference is off to a roaring start. I just wanted to remind you all that we will be covering the conference like always on the ITG Web Site. Reports and photos will go up very quickly after events.

We have just now started to upload reports, so have a look!

Thailand has some pretty strict duties and laws for importing goods. It was very expensive for vendors from other countries to bring their goods here.

The tables for the conference were free to any vendor though, which is unusual.

Glens Falls Symphony... it was advertised on Musical Chairs, but they didn't advertise long (they gave like a week or so to get stuff in)...Principal and Assistant Principal.

Its a great country!

ITG's first conference in Asia. You know how many Asian trumpet players there are?

This puts the I in ITG. Plus, once you get here, everything is incredibly in expensive.

Its been a real treat so far.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this one Mike!

It is an International conference, why not Thailand? We can't hog all the fun, every year. I can imagine that the Asian community is VERY excited to have the conference and the exposure it brings.

Isn't next year's conference in NJ?

I would have loved to gone and work the Eclipse booth again like last year in Denver but since they decided it was FAR too expensive and I have a bunch of great gigs (playing with Tony Bennett on Friday) I decided I'd stay in the US.

I had so much fun last time I was in Asia. Yes, I didn't have to pay to get there but Mike is 100% on with the expenses once you arrive! I routinely ate in Taiwan for less than $5 a day. This coming from a man who loves to eat!

Best,

Trent
