Hi everyone!

I just finished a new work to be premiered at ITG in June. It was commissioned by Nik Eklund, *Nate Mayfield, *Paul Merkelo, and *Rex Richardson.
(*perfroming the premiere).
It is an original concept - for Baroque trumpet, "classical" trumpet and "jazz" trumpet with strings and percussion. It will be premiered the same night as Allen Vizzutti's concert.
It's going to be a blast! How lucky am I to write for these guys??!! The piece will fuse together elements of all their styles to create a very unique and "current" sound.

I'll be there with a bunch of other music as well, including this new piece also arranged for "modern" trumpet (instead of Baroque) - and some of the guys will have their CDs at my table as well.
