![]() | I've been play testing two Kanstul horns. The Chicago 1001, and the 1070. Both in silver plate. Both from: http://www.pickmusic.net/trumpets.htm Quality is great. The 1070 is a bit too much for me with the .470" bore. I like the 1001 (.464" bore). Tomorrow, I'll be getting another Kanstul horn, the WB/ZKT 1600, also done in silver plate. I started many years ago with a Benge .460" bore, my thinking is that out of the 3 horns I mentioned I'll like the 1600 best. I'll be adding some (hopefully good) pictures of all three horns to my website soon. |

![]() | http://kisielka.com/My%20Axe.htm I picked the Chicago 1001 in silver plate with 2 Amado water keys, and peal finger buttons. BTW, this is a name change for me (Spawn). |

![]() | What happened to the Kanstul 1600 (Bergeron horn). It seemed like you were going to pick that one. What made you go for the 1001? Was the 1600 not open enough? Jim |
