Jens Lindemann at Carnegie Hall next week

I will be playing the Shostakovich concerto No. 1 for piano, trumpet and strings with an amazing Russian pianist (vassily Primakov) next week at Carnegie Hall. There are special (very reduced) ticket prices under "Lindemann" by calling 646-496-7662. For those of you who can make it, come say hello afterward at the reception...always nice to put a name to a cyberface!

I'll be playing principal in both ensembles... we'll be playing works by Husa, Lutoslawski, Takemitsu, Corigliano, and others. I'm crazy excited! Plus it is even better now that I'm getting to hear Jens live again.

Hey there Mr. Lindemann. Glad to see you've joined us in Cyberspace. I wanted to be at the Brass Festival that Benoit hosted down here, but I had to keep gigging to put food on the table and something over my head.

I hope things go well for you this wednesday!

Jon
