Just in Time for Halloween

Morning all,

Thought I’d share my 2006 trumpet-themed pumpkin creation (trumpkin). It’s made from a straight-from-the-patch pumpkin (no, I didn’t steal it), an old Cleveland White cornet and some old plastic tubing from the humidifier on my home’s furnace. It’s pitched perfectly in D-flat, and uses a Stork 1.5C cornet mouthpiece. Even though a short excerpt from Stanley’s Trumpet Voluntary made a good impression on the creative staff here at work, my baby still lost the pumpkin contest to one decked out as Gene Simmons from KISS . . .

Put a Jet Tone MF mpc in and it'd be a real "screamer!"

(I apologize in advance for that miserable joke)
