| Leadpipes What do all the various numbers and letters mean when they are in reference to leadpipes? Who are the various leadpipe makers? What are the benifits of the various leadpipes? A lot of questions I know, but, help me out, educate me and let me learn something today so I can go home. Thanks, |

| Like mouthpieces, leadpipes have different designations for every manufacturer and follow no pattern. Fortunatly, there are only a few leadpipe makers. Consider Blackburn, Pilczuk, Charlie's Brassworks, and(someday) GR. Leadpipes can change sound but are more related to response and "blow". Similarly, bells can affect blow much must less so than they affect sound. |
