I assume you mean 100 degrees Fahrenheit (just above body temp.), not Celsius (boiling point of water). You weren't specific on letting the water cool down to 100 degrees F. (37.8 deg. C) from boiling.

Yes, just above body temp. Sorry for being vague.
Ouch, that would hurt huh?!

Ah... theres nothing wrong with snorting boiling water up though your nose and burning all the allergie junk out of there... [/sarcasim]
My wife is a chronic allergy sufferer, and the nasal passage procedure you described can be best done with something called a "Netti Pot". I believe it came from Indian medicine, and looks like an Aladin's lamp. It makes the water pour out into your nostril just at the right angle. You can buy one at a health food store.
For the ears, buy a bottle of Debrox. Use it as directed, including flushing out with water after the Debrox has had enough time to work. For flushing, use a large bubble syring (sp?).

Thanks for posting. I do remember reading about those pots and I was going nuts trying to remember what those things were called... "Netti Pots"... As long as your gentle, my current injection method works well too.
I've been using a product I found at CostCo called NasalCrom. Doesn't work as well as Vancenase or Beconase but it's over the counter and is a lot cheaper.
I'd be curious to hear what other allergy sufferers use.
Good to see the Duke back, especially with the helmet!
