![]() | Mariachi music I have always enjoyed well played mariachi trumpets/msuic. I am wondering if I include some mariachi playing into my practice.....would it help, no difference or am I going to hoop myself? Any thoughts? Comments? Winning Lotto numbers?

![]() ![]() | Re: Mariachi music One of my very good friends here in Fort Worth has been playing with a mariachi band for several years. She said one of the things many groups do when recording is having the trumpets play into a fan to get that special vibrato. Not sure if this will help your practicing... In all seriousness, though, a good mariachi player has an incredibly vibrant, resonant sound. You probably want to stay away from practicing that vibrato too much, but adding another tool to your toolbox is always a good thing. -Jimi
