motivation..

Hi....Somebody knows any inspirational or biography book for student or amateur musician. I'm a student of trumpet, taking private classes and I just started working on my range and I'm getting some progress but I think some reading would help me to endure those moments of frustation even though I know I am in the right direction.

Thanks.

Go to roddytrumpet.cc and look for the Cat Andreson book about high notes. It was very encoging. if the website does not work type it into google.com because it will come up.

Herbert L. Clarke wrote a book "How I Became A Cornetist," that talks about his frustrations and how he overcame them.
Look on this site at the Personalities section.

Great recommendations guys. I would add any of the few autobiographical books that Charles Colin put out. You can get them from Charles Colin publications on line. They are very enjoyable to read and inspirational as well.

Hello to you all here at Trumpet master - I am just over from the trumpet herald.

Cheers,
