![]() | Mouthoiece Placement I have mentioned Digby Fairweather before on here. See his mouthpiece placement: Digby Fairweather Black & White jpeg on Flickr - Photo Sharing! I always tell people not to worry about placement of the mouthpiece and show them those photos but it seems teachers have been doing the same thing: Digby Flickr gallery 051 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

![]() ![]() | Re: Mouthoiece Placement Since I have to place my mouthpiece more than a little bit off center, due to a protruding left incisor, I have some difficulty finding any humor in the above. OLDLOU>>

![]() ![]() | Re: Mouthoiece Placement Digby Fairweather. I'll have to remember that. I played with that mouthpiece placement through high school. It worked fine for that level of playing.

![]() | Re: Mouthoiece Placement I think kids have started using the "Digby Fairweather" clause with their teachers. I play a bit off centre because of my teeth. In the UK Digby is probably one of the best known jazz musicians. That dent in his cornet was made deliberately. He banged it against the gate post of Louis Armstrong's house in Queens.
