mouthpeice

Currently I am playing on a Bach 5c mouthpice, and i had left my mouthpeice at school over the weekend and started practicing on the 3c that came with my trumpet. I noticed a darker tone and cleaner playing, but i had a weaker endurance. Should I keep playing on that mouthpeice or switch back.

If you wish stay with the 3c. It will take some time, but your endrance will come back. It will give you a darker tone as you said.

The sound is mostly in your head. If you're more comfortable on the 3C stick with it. If anything you may sound brighter on the 3C, it is the shallowest C cup compared to rim diameter.
