 | mouthpeice Currently I am playing on a Bach 5c mouthpice, and i had left my mouthpeice at school over the weekend and started practicing on the 3c that came with my trumpet. I noticed a darker tone and cleaner playing, but i had a weaker endurance. Should I keep playing on that mouthpeice or switch back. |

| If you wish stay with the 3c. It will take some time, but your endrance will come back. It will give you a darker tone as you said.

 | The sound is mostly in your head. If you're more comfortable on the 3C stick with it. If anything you may sound brighter on the 3C, it is the shallowest C cup compared to rim diameter.
