| Pianissimo User | Mouthpiece Question? I have been trying to use a Mix Vax model Marcink. lately. I normally play on a Curry 1 1/4 BC. However going to the Vax piece I get very tired very quickly. Am I doing something wrong, or is the Vax piece causing me to have to focus so much that my chops aren't used to it?

![]() | Brian, you're probably playing the Vax mpc like your 1-1/4BC. You should probably back off a little bit on the Vax and let the mpc do the work. If I'm not mistaken the Vax mpc has a 28 throat, so you are experiencing a back pressure issue. Also the inside rim diameter is quite different as well (1-1/4C diameter much bigger). |
