Mr. L's ITG Recital

Hi Mr. Manny,
hope all is well. Any chance you would let us know in advance what you will be playing on the ITG recital? No problem at all if you want to keep the suspense! I will attend and can't wait to hear you play.
Later,
Heik.

Furthermore, will this be recorded for those who can't attend to enjoy?

Re: Mr. L's ITG Recital

Guys,

First of all, it's not a recital. It's a lecture demo that will cover a great deal of musical situations. The talk is designed to teach people the rules of phrasing in a variety of contexts so that we have an idea of what to do when we play the different types of music . It's called "Playing in Character". There's going to be a very wide range of stuff and lots of questions, I hope.

Hello again Mr. Manny,
thanks for the reply. I am sure this will be one of the high points of the conference. And what a great topic you picked!
See you there,

I can't tell you guys what it means to me that I'll get to meet so many of you at this ITG. I'm probably going to enjoy that more than anything else.

Not to take away from Manny Time, but I should mention two other events scheduled at the same time.

In Lecture Hall 341,

Cool Jazz/Hot Latin; The affects of heat and cool on modern day valve oil viscosity. by A Granitelli

In Lecture Hall 217,

Busking for fun and $$ by R. Chartrand

The ITG has something for everyone!
