http://www.paxman.co.uk/pages/index....rnmusicmr.html I did a simple Google search. I think the Concerto was written in Eb major for Bb trumpet. I don't think it was written for Eb trumpet. Jim

| Mezzo Piano User | Scanned It just so happens that I have a scanned copy of the Bb part for the Neruda if you were at all interested in having an unofficial copy of it. If you give me an email I can send it to you. Due to copy right laws, you probably couldn't perform on this copy but it makes for a good practice aid. Let me know Eric eisprl@mta.ca |

To be strictly fair, it wasn't written for a trumpet in Eb, but that is a whole different topic. Should you wish to actually purchase a copy, Musica Rara do an excellent edition that comes with both Eb and Bb parts.

| Mezzo Piano User | Cona?? I've Seen Guy Few play it on a Corna de Cacia (spelling??) It's kind of a mix between a flugel and right handed french horn. He told me that this instrument would probably be the closest to the origional instrument used. Does this sound right?? E. |
