![]() | Mute Storage I just wanted to share a little Spring cleaning tip of mine for storing mutes. If you are short on space or just want to unclutter your place a bit, I have found those over-the-door shoe holders to work great. You know, the ones that are a bunch of clear plastic pockets sewn to a canvas? You can store two straight mutes in each pocket - one facing up and one upside down. The bigger mutes will require their own pocket. You can also store valve oil, cleaning supplies, pencils, etc. if you have vacant pockets remaining. Then you can just hang it on a closet door facing the inside of the closet or on the back of your studio/practice room door. Sincerely, Alex "Martha Stewart" Yates |

| Mezzo Piano User | Awesome, thanks. I always love hearing about neat tips like that. I will totally get one when I move out of school and actually own a closet.
