    Mutes (thin mute)

I am playing in the pit for the "Sound of Music" and it calls for a thin mute on "Edelweiss." I have never heard of a thin mute, and neither had the director. I'm sure someone can clue me in.

    Thank you,

    The Lip

They probably meant tin mute which usually means straight mute.
