| My Playing When I was in college (1978) I played a solo with the Wind Ensemble. Dramatic Essay by Clifton Williams. Recently I wondered how my playing compared to then, so I sent an email to the conductor asking for a tape of the concert. He answered back saying that the tapes were so old that he didn't know if he could recover the music. Well he did recover the music after baking the tape and I don't know what else. He sent a program and a cd. I am happy to say that my playing now is better then ever. There was a space of about ten years where I didn't play hardly at all. It is really nice to have something to compare too and I am really glad that it didn't go the other way. |
