Nice one Manny ;) The Minnesota Orchestra shines in this recording! Manny Laureano, principal trumpet, leads a trumpet section using Monette AJNA trumpets and the results speak for themselves... http://www.monette.net/newsite/cgi/recordings/93.mp3

David, Thanks... it's one of my favorite recordings of the band. It's one of the few Reference got right when it came to recording us. You would have been horrified to have seen the sound shields that were fairly a wall surrounding us! We finally put our feet down after that recording session and the walls came tumbling down. It had gotten to the point of ridiculousness. Anyways, if you pick that CD up, I promise you'll like it. ML

That recording is simply one of the most inspiring things I have heard. I use it to get geeked up for rehearsals of my tiny orchestra on a regular basis. The Scherzo of the 3rd symphony is just unblelievable. I heard it live as well when you were recording it and the sounds are still burned into my head! patrick
