Diz,

Go to www.sibeliusmusic.com and do a search. Don't search for oboe, but search for any "C" instrument (flute, clarinet, oboe, etc). If you play the C trumpet you could play lots of duets written for two "C" instruments.

They have over 40,000 scores and many of them are free. The others are very cheap.

There has got to be some websites on the internet that have some duets for trumpets and woodwinds. FYI, I hate to say this but Clarinets are Bb things not C.

assuming she doubles on english horn, Quiet City (Aaron Copland) is the obvious choice - if not, maybe the Vivaldi for 2 trumpets (it's in C) - a good chance to work on playing lightly and blending - YMMV.

I would look for an Oboe Duet & play the part on C trumpet..
A lot of the Baroque stuff has been transcribed to Oboe, and Flute but it also works well on C, D or Picc trumpet..

I'll look around & see what I can find.. One thing that comes to mind that might be fun is the Vivaldi for 2 trumpet in C..

You can find a midi of it here:

The title of this thread would almost be better if it was labled "oboe and trumpet duels"
