I just got my first rotary trumpet. Do I need to use any special oil?

On my piston valves I use Ultra-Pure.

The Ultra pure will probably work, but it won't last long. Some companies
make oil designed for rotary horns. But in most cases it is just the same stuff sometimes a little thicker.

This is the best oil for both piston and rotary horns.

Yeah, rotary oil is usually much thicker than valve oil. The reason is probably because they aren't as close tolerance as valves and you won't have to re-oil as much.
