Possible "TM" Conference! Discuss the possibility of a smaller TrumpetMaster.com Conference here. We have had a couple requests come through to set up some kind of TM "hang" along the lines of a very small ITG -A couple of masterclasses. -A concert or two. -Vendors Let us know what you think Would you be interested? Location? Dates? etc. This post is just to get the ball rolling and get people thinking about the possibility of a TM get together.

Sadly I think I will have to miss this one out (much as I would want to be there). I am guessing that it would be a US Conference and I have to sweet talk my boss enough to get time off for the ITG, not sure I could swing it for another one. I know what people are talking about with ITG-withdrawl - I need a fix - I can't even get up to Eclipse for a couple of weeks Ahhh, Matthias Hofs CD - that'll help Maybe a whisky or two? Trent??

| Forte User | I would also love to go. Alot would depend (for me) on location and time of year. Spring is really crazy...solo festivals to judge and prepare for, marching band begins, concerts, ITG is June (right in the heat of MB prep season for me...we're working our tails off the next 2 weeks to make up for it!). I'm also on serious ITG withdawal... Timing, location and cost are the magic trio. |

That's the theme.. timing, location. Man...I lived vicariously thru all of your experiences and posts on the ITG. Wonderful. I was glued to your reports every day. Would be terrific... and what with the ITG moving farther and farther away (from me) over the next couple of years... We would all be naturally selfish to want this to be nearest us.. or at least, equidistant....neither of which is likely. If you think about it... "location" is the main dilemna. Even with busy playing schedules, if the location was feasible..then arrangements could be made for even a partial visit. (of course, the true warrior at ITG was apparently NickD...with his quick hit fly in! wow. ) Ramble, ramble... would love to meet you all... let's see what happens.

Nashville would be a great location for the TM hang. Centrally located, with an international airport. Lots to do.
