Hi Does anyone know the names of the great horn players in the perez prado mambo band? I was listening to them on youtube and they are prowerful.

Billy Regis played the solo with the wild gliss in it. Don't know of any others

I believe that is "Cherry Pink & Apple Blossom White" eh?

Doc Cheatham also played on that album.

Yes, Chuck. Me bad. I hear "Perez Prado" and immediately only think about "Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White". Of course they played other tunes! (and lostbot is right... some mighty nice playing too).

Maynard Ferguson played also with Perez. The Peanut Vendor is from the Maynard year(s)
