The title says it all .... I have a question.
What is the criteria for determining that you HAVE a note, to add to your range? You own the note when:
a. You can squeak it out .... sometimes.
b. You can squeak it out, most of the time.
c. You can squeak it out, with the suggestion of tone.
d. It sounds more note-like than squeak-like, most of the time.
e. It sounds note-like and you can hold it for a few seconds, most of the time.
f. Long tone.
I probably missed a few steps in the squeak-to-note progression ...
