![]() | Quick Noobie Question If an experienced trumpet player switched to play trombone for a few years... would it ruin his trumpet chops or help it because he is still working his chops out by buzzing on a bigger mouthpiece? Thanks in advance. |

![]() | An experienced player that works by sound would have a period of adjustment with both instruments but should be okay after a while of playing the trumpet again. You never forget that sound if it was important to begin with. ML |
