You can use 1-2 (or 3)

Download this: http://www.trumpetstudio.com/scales/Allfinger.pdf
and you will have all the fingerings you need

Re: Quick Question

common fingering is 1&2, but if your high A (above the staff) is high, you may wish to use 3 instead for better tuning. The choice is rather personal - It depends on the horn and the player.

This is a picture of a trumpet:

If you don't recognize it, you might not be playing a trumpet.
The pdf is very easy to understand.
I checked with my grandson today. He understood it easily.
His very first day at school will actually be tomorrow....

I never offend anyone, not in forums or in real life, but now I feel that your
postings are a bit suspicious at the moment and I wonder what is going on here.

Re: Quick Question

as addition to NLT directions, you may use also this one TRUMPETER'S FANFARE --Fingering Chart and Tuning Tendencies which is uncomplete (no alternative fingerings) but it states what the natural intonation tendencies are. This should be enough to sort all your fingering questions out. However, this is not an excuse for not using your ears to correct the intonation. All this directions concerning the mouvements of 1st and 3rd slides are very relative. It depends again on the trumpet and the player.

The chart referenced gives open fingering for low F# (3rd ledger line below staff), which should be 123.

Right. Did not spotted that mistake. Good remark, veery!
