I was curious about some pieces you fellows might suggest a Sophomore trumpet major to work up for Fall semester?

That depends on what you're working on now. There's no set list of music that says that "sophomores must play this, this and this." Take what you're working on now as a guide. Take what challenges you now, and go a little further. You have to keep your consistent progress in mind, so choose things that will make you work on your weaknesses, but aren't so far out of reach that they will frustrate you or lead to some bad physical habits. Talk it over with your teacher amd be open minded and have fun.
