| Mezzo Forte User | Shame on y'all... Yes they are still around. At least in my neck of the woods. A rent party is where you need rent, so you throw a party, get some musicians together and play and have a blast. Donations, etc. Usually end up well over what ya need for rent. Which is good cause then you can afford to have the carpets cleaned from all the drunks and that window replaced that got broken by a unidentified flying object! lol, choppin' comps bascially the same thing except ya get lil presents and kinda see who is who on improv and stuff. It's all a lot of fun... And I'm a young one so this is surprisgin that you older folxs ain't... grrr... oh well. G'nite. |
