Schools in LA

My wife plans on attending UCLA for her Master's and Doctorate. I would like to polish my orchestral skills in a Master's program during that time. I'd like to hear opinions on UCLA and other programs at schools that wouldn't be to far away from UCLA. Niether one of us would mind driving 30 minutes to our respective campuses, it that helps broaden the area. Thanks!

Alex Yates has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Jens Lindemann is based out of Los Angeles.
