Welcome, Glenn -

I've always wanted to go to Scotland, and now you may have given me an even better motivation - just as long as there's no haggis involved!

Best wishes,
Chas in sunny south Florida (sorry to rub it in)

re: Scottish Trumpet festival and competition June 2010

Hi to Chas and everyone looking at these updates.

Can I just say that this would be a fantastic reason to come to visit Scotland, a friendly welcome awaits all, hopefully some nice weather too!!

Keep the air flowing, the notes playing and look after those "chops"

Keep in touch and best wishes

Glenn in a rather damp Scotland

Re: Scottish Trumpet festival and competition June 2010

Hi Glenn,

Great Idea! We really need something like this North of the Border. Just one small question though - with regards to the competition, why is there an age cut-off?

I would be really interested in entering, if only to give me something to practice towards!

(P.S I'm 37 1/2 years old)

Cheers!

Ewan
