Scottish Trumpet festival and competition June 2010

just a wee message to hi to all the other trumpet players out there from a rather snowy North East Scotland. Hope to post some exciting news about the first ever Scottish Trumpet festival and competition that is to take place June 2010 in the next few weeks.

Keep the air flowing, the notes playing and look after those "chops"

Best wishes

Glenn

2010. That gives us all enough time to properly prepare! Looking forward to more info. If you want, we can make the info sticky so that it is at the top of this section of the forum.

re: Scottish Trumpet festival and competition June 2010

Hi everyone again,

Just another bit about the festival in Scotland next year. The dates are to be 17th - 20th June. It will be here in Elgin, North East Scotland and will be a great weekend for all. We are looking at running 2 competitions, jazz and classical. Prizes are still being confirmed. Details to follow.

If all goes to plan we will have Chuck Findley,John Wallace, Lasse Lindgren, Andrea Giuffredi, Mike Lovatt, Noel Langley and many other great players doing workshops and clinics over the weekend.

More to follow as soon as I can

Keep the air flowing, the notes playing and look after those "chops"

Glenn
