![]() | Selling tips... (Ok...so I used to play the cello...have I just outted myself? A quick question: I am selling a 1889 Conn on a popular auction site. Was this a terrible decision? Should I have gone through a site (be it on-line or brick and mortar) that does not auction and just sells out right? I don't want to rip anyone off by my lack of knowledge but then again...don't want to stiff myself any honest bucks I could gain. Be kind with any response and thanks. Charisse |

| Fortissimo User | Re: Selling tips... Go on Google and search for Conn Loyalist. The website has a lot of good information on it. Also, you will want to polish it before taking pictures (assuming it is tarnished.) It is similar to a car, you're not going to get $10,000 for a car if its covered with mud/rust, just like you won't get good money for a horn that is tarnished.
