There have been many posts on this thread. Unfortunately we do not have enough information from the OP to diagnose his problem. What does he mean by "Slight springy sound"?
Many of the answers offered assume that it is a rubbing of the spring in the spring box. However, if it is a "boing" springy sound that is quite different. That sort of sound happens when the spring resonates from a VERY SUDDEN stop in movement.
But we don't know.
Yamaha valve springs are the best quality in the industry, period. Notwithstanding that, there could still be a problem with one.
And, if the valve stems are too tight to undo, how can we be sure (from a novice) that the guides are correctly installed.
This trumpet should be inspected by someone familiar with these instruments. Not mis-diagnosed by verbose correspondents over-versed in Googling.
