Smart Music connection

Is Smart-Music a self-contained program, or does it require a fast (non-telephone-dialup) connection? I've been looking at their web page, and it's not obvious. To me, anyway. I figure asking here is probably faster than contacting them by e-mail.

It is self contained. They will send you a disc, or you can download the program from them. After that all you need is for it to be installed.

I really didn't think it could be that fast! Thanks - my teacher is going to Florida for a month and I'm hooked by now on having someone to play with. This sounds pretty good. (Especially if he decides to stay down there with the grandkids.)

Actually you WILL need a fast internet connection to download the acomp filer and any of the band music files. Without it all you can access are the installed excercises. It would be like buying a new car and riding you bike instead.
