| Pianissimo User | St louis Area I am going to be in St Charles for a few days this summer. I was wondering if anyone new how I could get a lesson with Thomas Drake or Susan Slaughter. TO add to that question, can anyone recommend a teacher up there? Joshua C Ritchie

![]() ![]() | Re: St louis Area You can get Susan through the St. Louis Symphony office. I am pretty sure Mr. Drake is in the phone directory. He is probably registered with the musicians union so they can help out. He probably has an email address through Washington University. PM me with your days in St. Charles and we can have a beer at Trailhead Brewery. Maybe you can give me a lesson before we go to Trail Head? The trumpet professor at Lindenwood University is available this summer. Dr. Lisa Blackmore. Malcomb McDuffy is at Webster University. John Korak at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Young Audiences of St. Louis: 2003 Artist fo the Year Other than those mentioned above I would say you have the top teachers in the area.

![]() | Re: St louis Area Although your focus seems to be towards classical, you may also consider Bob Ceccarini. Been around a long time and sure is a fine player. Truly an "all-arounder". One of the best.
