| I have heard her live in Chicago and wanted to when I was in St. Louis for my brother's wedding, but couldnt get to it with all the wedding crap. I really like her playing. Very nice sound and very musical. I really like her ability to change sound per the music and what is going on in the orchestra, that no the trumpet isnt always the star, it is sometimes secondary and when it is, to be secondary and not overwhelm the orchestra. I thinkshe is under a lot of people's radar screen because the St. Louis havent recorded a lot lately and no longer have national radio broadcast and I dont know whether they have done a lot of touring they havent come here. (not happy about that, touring orchestras dont come here but that is a different topic) |
