hey guys i am remastering a Getzen 700 special series and its got hella tarnish and black spots, and ive already used Hagertys polish and it didn't really take all the spots off. can you help?
Also iv'e been looking at Tarn-X and i'm wondering if that will work.
Tarn-X won't work any better than Hagerty's. Have you done the aluminum foil - baking soda technique yet?
Great horn. I have little comet like spots on mine in the bell area.
Bach CR300 cornet
Getzen 700 Eterna
Getzen 390 (stay-at-school horn)
Yamaha 731 flugelhorn
Buescher Custom Built model 264 Aristocrat cornet
no i havent yet but thanks for the idea i will use it!
Use the Alunium foil & Baking Soda method works cheap and fast and GOOD.
If it doesn't work buy a Yamaha Brass Soap on Amazon.com cheap and removes tarnishes.
